Let’s shake things up a bit, shall we?  In the first ever edition of our Student Spotlight Blog one of our Medical Assisting students tells us about her journey at Community Care College. I asked for her to give advice to our current and future students and here is her beautiful message meant just for you.

“Being a student at Community Care College, Clary Sage College, or Oklahoma Technical College is one of the best decisions you could have made. No matter how you got here, you’re here with a purpose. For every purpose there’s a reason and for every reason, there’s a season. As you know, we don’t eat food without seasoning. It’s added to enhance the flavors which make it more enjoyable.

Well, that’s not the type of seasoning I’m referring to but the same concept. Your externship is an extension of your classroom. You’re externing from a school with an impeccable reputation. Don’t be discouraged if things don’t meet your expectations. Shift your mindset, propel your career. Everything you have been working for is now here.

You’ve studied and were tested. You did great on some and not so great on others. You are learning your strengths and weaknesses. You’re still mixing your seasonings.”
